Autumn 2024' Planning for Success Culinary Retreat at historical Mountrothe

All meals are included in price: Arrival is Monday, September 30th at 9 am: you will be treated to a homemade breakfast by an incredible Ballymaloe Alumni Chef who is a dairy farmer and once had her own micro dairy where she made artisan yoghurt.  You will spend your first hour meeting the other attendees and chatting over locally roasted coffee. The retreat starts at 10 am sharp. Lunch will be delivered by an award-winning cafe and restaurant where you will hear their story as we feast on their award-winning food. The afternoon is jam-packed with more intensive business sessions. The evening starts at 7 pm where we will meet in the drawing room and have bubbles to celebrate the fact that you said yes to this retreat and invested in yourself, your business and your future self. Dinner will be cooked by an award-winning food business owner and operator and served family-style in the stunning dining room. After dinner, there will be a fireside chat where Tracie and her special guest will discuss real-life hurdles, dilemmas and solutions as an independent food business owner in Ireland.

Tuesday morning starts with breakfast from 7:30am to 8:30 am served in the conservatory. 

The day starts promptly at 9 am with intensive workshops on business and personal success.  Tuesday is fast-paced and intensive. Be prepared to be pushed and inspired. 

Lunch is served with a delivery from another award-winning cafe where they will bring us on a food business journey as we dine on their glorious and award-winning food.

The afternoon is an intensive continuation of the morning session. By the end of the day, you will be focused and clear on what 2025 will look like for you and your business. This retreat is to allow you to go into Christmas focused on sales and to ensure when you do stop between Christmas and New Year that you have your plan ready so that you start January with clarity, hunger and enthusiasm. 

The evening is a private dining experience where we meet at an award-winning restaurant for a bespoke and private dining experience. The award-winning chef will take us on a culinary journey and talk all things food, business and menus. 

Departure and goodbyes occur after a family-style breakfast that is brought to you by 72 hr artisan-made croissants from an outstanding bakery that will share their remarkable story. BUT the cherry on top of this incredible retreat is at 11 am I have secured a private tour of a brand new mill that is working directly with farmers and growers of Irish and ancient grains to bring an outstanding and health-giving product to every home, food business and bakery in Ireland. After this incredible opportunity to learn more about the Mill, the farmers & growers, the grains and why the resurgence of Mills is essential for your health and our Irish landscape, you will return to your business and life feeling reinvigorated and ready to level up with new hope, actions, and timelines that ensure progress and growth.
